Join us on January 20th, 2019 for a workshop and dinner focused on fermentation. Learn from one of our favorite farmers, Oksana Bocharova of Oksana’s Produce Farm and Fermented Foods. Oksana will discuss the benefits of fermented foods while demonstrating the process. Jump in and get your hands dirty as she prepares one of her ferments, or simply watch and ask questions as she works. Following the demonstration, we will serve a meal featuring Borscht made by Oksana and a classic Russian meal of Beef Stroganoff & mashed potatoes, served, of course, with a compliment of Oksana’s ferments.
Due to limited space at Bread and Butter Kitchen, we will offer two seatings; one at 2PM and one at 5PM. Tickets are $30 and includes the workshop, dinner, and one of Oksana’s jars of fermented veggies. Yay!
